A search has been launched for the owner of pet bird that has made a new home at a train station in south Essex.
British Transport Police says the bird was found in the car park at Southend Victoria station today (Monday, February 21).
It is believed to have fled or escaped due to Storm Eunice on Friday.
Officers have posted a public appeal on Twitter in a bid to track down the bird's owner.

This feathered friend was found in the car park at Southend Victoria station today after flying a little too far from the nest during the storm.
Can you help us find it's owner?
Meanwhile it's getting lots of tweetment and care from our officers 💙 pic.twitter.com/dLVG769u6s
