A BUSY road which takes traffic passed Wickford town centre remains closed for the third successive day.
Golden Jubilee Way has been shut to all traffic after Storm Franklin caused damaged to nearby buildings.
The strong winds on Monday came just days after Storm Eunice brought gusts of up to 75mph to south Essex.
The damage done to the buildings means there is a danger of debris falling onto Golden Jubilee Way.

It remains closed between Radwinter Way and Runwell Road.
Drivers are diverting through Wickford High Street to avoid the closure, but this is leading to regular congestion.
First Essex has made changes to some of its services as a result of the closure.
It is not known when the road will reopen to traffic.
Essex Highways has been contacted for comment.
