Dozens of new jobs are being created by B&M’s new store in Pitsea.
The budget retailer is adding to its portfolio in south Essex by converting the old Go Outdoor building in High Road, into a new store.
Bosses say the shop is creating 65 new jobs.
A ‘comprehensive’ internal and external refurbishment is being carried out ahead of the official opening, which is planned for Saturday, March 26.
B&M says the shop will offer the usual range of products, from food and drink, to toys, DIY essentials, beauty products and homeware.
A spokesman for B&M said: “We’re feeling extremely positive about the creation of more jobs for local people and we hope customers are going to be delighted with their new store.”
“We are all really excited to get the doors open and welcome our new customers through the door in March.”
