A family quickly escaped a blaze at their home after their oven caught fire.
The residents in Lymington Avenue, Leigh rushed out of their property at about 6.40pm last night.
Fire crews were called after the residents reported their oven had caught alight.
The family had acted quickly to get out of the house, stay out and call the fire service.

The firefighters found the kitchen was heavily smoke logged and extinguished the fire by 7:13pm.
Crews worked to ventilate the property and believe the fire was caused by an electrical fault within the oven.
