AN AIR ambulance was seen landing in Eastwood Park yesterday following a car crash on a nearby road.
Dramatic images from the scene show a vehicle crumpled against a the brick facade of a home in Hudson Road, Leigh.
An air ambulance landed in nearby Eastwood Park at about midday following the incident.
A man was taken to Southend University Hospital by land for treatment.

An East of England Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called to Hudson Crescent in Leigh just after 12.15pm yesterday with reports that a car had crashed into a house.
"An ambulance, senior paramedic and the Essex and Herts Air Ambulance were dispatched to the scene. An adult man was transported by land to Southend University Hospital for further assessment and treatment.”
