A drugs farm, ready for harvest, was found in a flat during a police raid.
Officers smashed their way into the home in Rayleigh and say a man was quizzed in connection with the cannabis farm.
The Rochford policing team posted on social media with images of the mature cannabis farm and the smashed down front door.

A spokesman for the Rochford policing team said: "On Saturday, we held a drugs raid at an address in Rayleigh.
"A cannabis cultivation was discovered and a 54 year old man was arrested on suspicion on being concerned in the production of cannabis and possession with intent to supply.
"The suspect has been questioned and released under investigation whilst we gather further evidence to secure a prosecution."
