A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of GBH with intent following an incident in Southend.
Police were called shortly before 4am this morning, following concerns for a man who had sustained a head injury in Kilworth Avenue, Southend.
This morning, the road remained cordoned off after officers were examining the scene in Kilworth Avenue.

A spokesman for Essex Police said: "We were called by ambulance service colleagues shortly before 4am this morning, Monday 21 Mach, following concerns for a man who had sustained a head injury in Kilworth Avenue, Southend.
"The man, aged in his 30s, was located nearby and taken to hospital for treatment.
"This morning, officers were examining a scene in Kilworth Avenue.
"A 29-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of GBH with intent. He remains in custody.
"Anyone who has information is asked to call 101 and quote incident 97 of 21 March."
