IT is only one month to go until airline giant easyJet returns to Southend for the first time in almost two years.
The budget airline is getting closer to making its long-awaited return to Southend airport, with holiday-makers already getting excited.
easyJet will have two weekly flights to Faro
In addition, the low-cost carrier will have four weekly flights to Palma and six weekly flights to Malaga.

Their upcoming return is as a massive boost for Southend Airport, as fellow airline Ryanair previously called an end to its own operations from the airport.
easyJet has previously announced three destinations in Portugal and Spain they will be flying to, these being Faro, Majorca, and Malaga.

It is almost two years since the airline announced it was quitting Southend Airport, in what was a surprise move at the time.
A number of package holidays have been revealed, with seats available to book today.
The flights are set to run between May and October as part of easyJet’s summer schedule.
