A MAN is in hospital with life-threatening injuries after a serious crash in Canvey.
Police were called to Central Avenue, shortly after 4.20pm yesterday afternoon, following reports of an incident involving a car and a motorcycle.
The motorcyclist, a man in his 20s, has since been take to hospital in a life-threating condition.
The road remained closed late last night while investigations continued.

No arrests have been made, but Essex Police are appealing for witnesses.
A spokesman for Essex Police said: “We are appealing for witnesses to a serious collision which took place in Central Avenue, Canvey, this afternoon, Monday April 4.
“We need anyone who witnessed the collision or has any CCTV, doorbell, or dash cam footage of it to submit a report online at https://www.essex.police.uk or use the 'Live Chat' button to speak to an online operator between 7am-11pm.
