A south Essex MP has confirmed he will be voting against the Prime Minister in the vote of no confidence.
John Baron, Conservative MP for Basildon and Billericay, has announced he will be voting against Boris Johnson this evening.
This follows his announcement last month after the Sue Gray report that Mr Baron would be withdrawing his support from the Prime Minister.

In a statement John Baron said: “Further to my announcement last month following the publication of the Sue Gray report that I was withdrawing my support from the Prime Minister, I will be voting against the Prime Minister in the vote of no confidence this evening.
“Sue Gray’s report laid bare the extent of the rule-breaking at the heart of Government.
“Sadly, the Prime Minister’s repeated assurances to Parliament that he was unaware of any rule-breaking are simply not credible.
"For me, the central issue is the integrity of Parliament – not whether Boris Johnson is an electoral asset or not.”
