A MAN has been slapped with a community order after assaulting a woman.
Antony Price, 36, of Harwich Road, Colchester, has assaulted a woman in Basildon by beating on April 4.
Appearing at Basildon Magistrates Court, Price has admitted to the offence.
He was ordered to attend 30 days of rehabilitation as well as carry out 80 hours of unpaid work.
A restraining order was also made against the victim.
Price must also pay costs of £105 and a £95 victim surcharge.
