The family of a Ryan Heffernan-Surplice are finally saying their goodbyes today after his sudden death at school.
And Shoebury High School is closed for the day as the late student is laid to rest.
Ryan died following a medical emergency at Shoebury High School on March 28.
His family say they still don’t know the exact cause of his tragic death.

Ryan's funeral is being held at Southend Crematorium from 12pm today.
His grieving mum Catherine Heffernan, 39, of Shoebury, had said she will feel some relief at finally being able to lay her son to rest.
She said her family “no longer feel stuck in limbo” and organising the final farewell kept her distracted as she waits to find out why Ryan died.
Almost £17,000 has been raised by friends and supporters online for the family to help them with financial support toward the funeral and give them the time they need to mourn and heal from his sudden death.
