Here is a selection of animals from the RSPCA branches in Essex and the affiliated Danaher Animal House who are looking for a forever home.
There are some animals from the Essex South, Southend & District branch, the South West branch and the Danaher Animal Home.
If you think you would be able to rehome one of them go to either the Essex South, Southend & District branch, the South West branch, or the Danaher Animal Home website for details.
You can also donate to the charities to help them carry on their rescue work at the same websites.
Rusty
Gender - Male
Age - Two years old
Breed - Domestic shorthair crossbreed
Colour - Ginger
Rusty is a sweet cat who loves to be made a fuss of. He adores attention and will give you plenty of affection in return.
He will need to be on a raw diet as he has an allergy that can cause his skin to become broken and sore. Despite this, he remains a very happy and sociable cat who enjoys playing with his toys and curling up on a warm lap.

Ray Ray
Gender - Male
Age - Four or Five years old
Breed - Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cross
Colour - White
Ray Ray is described as having a "big personality" and knows lots of tricks, walks well on the lead, is housetrained and is generally an easy-going, well behaved dog.
He is unsure of other dogs and will sometimes lunge and bark at them out on walks. Because of this an owner with experience with reactive dogs would be preferred, as due to his size he needs someone that can cope with this behaviour.
Because of his picky nature with other dogs, and the fact he likes to have his humans all to himself Ray Ray would prefer to be the only dog in the home. However he is a confident chap and is not phased by loud noises or quick movements, so can live with older children that are used to dogs.

Mochi
Gender - Male
Age - Between 6 and 12 months
Breed - Domestic shorthair crossbreed
Colour - White and Tabby
Mochi was brought in to the RSPCA after his previous owners made the heartbreaking decision to have him rehomed after they could no longer look after him due to work commitments.
He is a super affectionate boy who loves nothing more than the company of humans. He is a curious kitten who may follow you around wherever you go. He will be the perfect companion to anyone lucky enough to own him.
Due to his love of company he will need people around with him the majority of the day.

Felix and Camilo
Gender - Male
Age - Between zero and three months
Breed - Domestic shorthair crossbreed
Colour - Black and White
Felix and Camilo were sadly abandoned by their mother and found outside alone, and were quite frightened at first when brought into the RSPCA's care.
Their confidence has grown a little since then and they now need understanding, patient owners who can give them the love that they need to be able to grow into confident cats.
Additionally, they would like to be adopted together.
