Emergency services rushed to a road in Southend this afternoon after concerns for the welfare of a man.
Essex Police confirmed it was dealing with an incident at 1.10pm in Riviera Drive in Southend which involves a concern for the welfare of a man.
It is understood the ambulance service were also on the scene.

A spokesman for the force at the time said: "We are working alongside emergency services colleagues to ensure a safe conclusion.
"Thank you for your patience and understanding."
The situation reached a safe conclusion by 5pm and police say the man is now in the care of health professionals.
