A new addition to McDonald's popular breakfast menu is being trialled in selected south Essex restaurants.

McDonald’s has launched a new breakfast pot which is being sales tested for a limited time in restaurants across Eastern England, London and the South East.

The new addition is the Berry and Granola Yogurt, a pot of creamy Greek style yogurt topped with crunchy granola and mixed berry compote.

The brand-new menu addition offers a lighter breakfast option on warm summer mornings and is available for £2.49.

It is being trialled until October 11 at Lakeside in Grays at the drive-thru in Cygnet View, as well as unit 64 and unit 344 in the shopping centre.

It will also be available to customers at the Thurrock Park Way restaurant in Tilbury.

The new pot is also available further afield in Essex in Clacton, Colchester, Maldon and Braintree.
