Two people were taken to hospital for treatment after reports a car overturned and blocked a road in Shoebury earlier today.
Elm Road in Shoebury was partially blocked as emergency services were called at 10.54am to an overturned vehicle in the road, according to reports.
AA traffic news reported the road was blocked between Vanguard Way / Hermes Way and Wakering Road / Blackgate Road.
The incident cleared at 12.41pm and the ambulance service has confirmed two people were rushed to hospital for treatment.

An East of England Ambulance Service spokesman said: "We were called at 10.54am to a road traffic accident in Elm Road in Shoebury.
"An ambulance and operations manager were sent to the scene.
"Two patients were transported to Southend University Hospital for further assessment and treatment."
Essex Police has also been contacted for comment.
