"Traffic chaos" reportedly ensued yesterday as a broken down bus waited hours for a recovery.
An Arriva bus stuck on the mini roundabout near The Spa in Hockley caused "traffic chaos" yesterday, according to reports, after it broke down.
The bus was turning right from Main Road into Spa Road when it ground to a halt at about 7pm.
A resident in the area claims "traffic chaos" then ensued as cars tried to get around the broken down vehicle, reportedly having to mount the pavement.

Police officers were seen in the road helping drivers get past the bus.
The bus driver was left waiting for almost three hours for a recovery vehicle to arrive, as the bus was seen being hitched up just after 10pm.
A spokesman at the Arriva depot said: "The incident occurred at 7.07pm.
"All power was lost due to the battery failing, an engineer attended the incident with a booster pack to try and get power back to move the vehicle.
"However this was not a possibility and so the recovery company were called to assist.
"Unfortunately due to the recovery vehicle having to travel from Northfleet the bus was only able to be recovered around 10.05pm."
