A thief who stole beef from Marks and Spencer in Southend on two separate occasions has avoided jail.
Charlotte Victoria Ann Hyde, of York Road, Southend, stole beef steaks worth £140 and £78.20 from a Marks and Spencer in Southend on May 5 and May 11.

The 42-year-old also admitted to stealing toothpaste and electric toothbrushes, worth more than £100, from a Boots in Southend on April 13.
She appeared at Southend Magistrates’ Court on July 7 where she was sentenced to 8 weeks in prison, suspended for 12 months Hyde must also pay compensation of £318.20.
