YOUNG people in West Thurrock now have a place to go one evening a week.
The Bar 'n' Bus Trust runs every Wednesday evening, between 8pm and 10pm, in the car park behind Cowdray Hall, in Credo Way.
The charity works across south east Essex, offering a counselling service for young people in schools, and the Bar 'n' Bus evenings are also held in Chafford Hundred on Fridays and Corringham on Thursdays.
The double-decker bus is staffed by trained people and provides free soft drinks, tea and coffee downstairs. Upstairs there are Play-Stations and board games.
The service is for children aged 11 to 18.
