A CAR left the road and was involved in a serious crash in the early hours of the morning.
Essex Police received a call at around 1.35am today (Wednesday, August 3) that a car had left Princess Margaret Road, East Tilbury.
Officers have closed the road and it’s likely to remain shut into this morning.

An Essex Police spokesman said: "We need anyone who saw anything or has any information to contact us.
"If you have any CCTV, dash cam or other footage in relation to this incident, then please get in contact with us.
"Please quote incident 80 of 3 August.
