Southend Airport has revealed an exclusive flight to a new holiday destination has been added as the airport has been taking extra flights.
A Southend Airport spokesman has revealed an exclusive flight with Blue Air to Bucharest, the capital of Romania, has been added.
They said: "Psst, guys. An exclusive flight to Bucharest with Fly Blue Air is now open.
"That's right, go crazy and go book your ticket."
The flight from Southend to Bucharest takes off on Tuesday, August 9.
Customers can book now at southendairport.com/destinations/bucharest.
This comes after bosses at the airport revealed it has been seeing an increase in interest from airlines whilst it helps out other airports and airlines by taking extra flights.

The airport welcomed a Blue Air flight to Bucharest yesterday, the second of its kind in the space of a week.
Southend Airport has also welcomed flights from Sky Express to Athens and Wideroe to Bergen as the airlines are struggling to add additional flights at London airports.
A spokesman had said: "Southend Airport has been working with airlines that are currently struggling to add additional flights at established London airports.

"Unlike those established London airports, Southend Airport has available slots and the capacity to welcome additional flights."
Krassimir Tanev, chief commercial officer at Blue Air, previously stated: "We are delighted to add additional capacity to London during the peak holiday season by operating from London Southend Airport.
"Although we are only operating some ad hoc flights at the current time, we have been impressed by the swift response from the airport’s management team to cater for our flights at very short notice."
