A FAMOUS actor, who starred in Line of Duty, Two Pints of Lager, and Broadchurch, has spent the day at a south Essex theme park.

Will Mellor, a well-known English actor, made a trip to the popular theme park in Southend, Adventure Island.

Bosses confirmed his visit on social media yesterday.

Will has appeared in many popular programmes, including Line of Duty, a Packet of Crisps, and Broadchurch as well as playing roles in Hollyoaks and more recently Coronations Street.

Earlier this week, Will was also announced as the first contestant for the new series of Strictly Come Dancing.

A spokesman for Adventure Island said: “We had a lovely visit from Will Mellor today.

“We hope he had a wonderful time!”
