ONLOOKERS in Southend will get another chance to catch a glimpse of the Red Arrows, a Spitfire, a Lancaster bomber and other incredible aircraft today.
Thousands have enjoyed looking on as the magnificent flying machines take off and land at Southend Airport this weekend.
The aircraft are using Southend Airport as a base before heading off to the Eastbourne Airshow, with the Red Arrows also taking part in the Folkestone Airshow today.
The times for Sunday are:
- BMF Spitfire, Hurricane and Lancaster due to depart 12.02pm, Spitfire returns at 1.40pm and Hurricane at 1.51pm. Lancaster not to return.
- Red Arrows depart at 1.36pm, return at 2.20pm.
- Red Arrows depart again at 4.50pm and return at 5.34pm, before departing for base at 7.45pm.
Echo Camera Club member Simon Murdoch said: "It's a bit like an airshow for the crowds.
"We certainly need to have an air show again at Southend now we are a city, lets hope the council agree."
