A teenager was stabbed in the leg during a robbery near a supermarket and range of other town centre businesses.
The boy was attacked in Northlands Pavement in Pitsea near to The Range and Aldi on Friday at about 6.35pm.
Police say the teenage boy was robbed and suffered a stab wound to his leg.
An Essex Police spokesman said: "Officers are investigating a robbery in Pitsea. A teenage boy reported he was robbed at Northlands Pavement, Pitsea, just after 6.35pm on Friday 26 August.
"The teenager sustained a small stab wound to his leg. If you have any information, CCTV, dash cam or other footage in relation to this incident, then please get in contact with us.
