A MAN has been taken to hospital in a serious condition following an incident in Hadleigh.
The East of England Ambulance Service confirmed a patient is in a serious condition following reports of a man in cardiac arrest.
It followed reports from the Essex Police of concerns for the safety of a man.
The Air Ambulance was also in attendance but the man was transported to Southend Hospital by road.

A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said: “One ambulance, one ambulance officer vehicle and Essex and Herts Air Ambulance were called to Westwood Woods, Benfleet this morning following reports of a man in cardiac arrest.
“One patient in a serious condition was transported to Southend University Hospital by road ambulance.
A spokesman for Essex Police added: “We were called to Rayleigh Road in Hadleigh shortly after 9am this morning, September 1, following a concern for safety of a man.
“We remain on the scene supporting the ambulance service and a police cordon is in place.
“The man has been taken to hospital.”
