Police have suspended the search for a missing man from south Essex as officers have located the body of a man.
Essex Police officers had been out looking for Paul Bowen, 36, who has been missing from South Ockendon.
Paul was reported missing shortly before 7.50pm on Sunday, September 4.
The force had appealed for the public's help as officers were worried about him and need to find him to "make sure he’s ok".
Now the search for Paul has been called off after officers located a body. Formal identification is yet to take place.
An Essex Police spokesman said: "We have suspended the search for Paul Bowen who is missing from South Ockendon.
"Officers have located the body of a man.
"Formal identification is yet to take place, but our search has been suspended.
"Paul’s family have been informed and are being supported."
