A SOUTHEND woman was forced to give up her two dogs due to the impact of the cost-of-living crisis.
Wendy Wilson, who lives in Southend with her young son, told the BBC she had to get rid of her two dogs as they were becoming too expensive during the current climate.
She said it was the worst decision she had to make, but one she had to for her and her son.

Wendy said to the BBC: “It is the worst thing to do, the worst.

“It is not fair that I have had to do it, but I have got to look after myself and my son.”
