A much-loved fast food restaurant in Southend reopened this morning after closing its doors for hours.
McDonald's in Eastern Avenue, Southchurch, closed to customers yesterday afternoon (September 6).
It had been unknown why the branch was shut.
A spokesman for McDonald's has now confirmed the restaurant had closed due to some IT issues.
But it's good news for customers, as the restaurant reopened about an hour ago, according to bosses.
