AMBULANCE crews are on the scene of a crash in Basildon.
Three ambulances were pictured on the scene of the incident in Whitmore Way earlier this afternoon.
Two people have been taken to hospital for treatment - one pedestrian and one driver.
An East of England Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called at 2.49pm today to a road traffic accident in Whitmore Way in Basildon.
"Three ambulances and an operations manager were sent to the scene.
"Two patients were transported to Basildon and Thurrock Hospital for further assessment and treatment.”
As of yet, no arrests have been made by Essex Police.
