An unhappy aspect of the refugee question is when people who have been refugees and are now ensconced pull up the drawbridge and make new arrivals unwelcome.
Much worse is when the anti-refugee trail goes down the empathy route picking up, sadly, so-called Christians on the way.
It eventually reaches rock bottom with physical attacks on refugees and others who are "not like us".
The latest horror to be publicised was the killing of a girl because she was dressed as a Goth.
The tabloids who produce spurious rabble-rousing items should take responsibility, but of course they won't. What does the fact they are producing stuff that people like to read say for a socalled civilised country?
Not a lot!
