BUDDY richly deserves his entry to Southend hospital's roll of honour.
He may be a dog, but his hospital visits under the Pets as Therapy scheme have helped lift the spirits of scores of patients.
He is likely to have his work cut out over the next few months.
Following the disappointing round of pay rises this year, quite a few nurses may also be pleading for a morale-boosting visit.
