I could not believe the article on Asbos being presented to smokers for dropping cigarette ends in the street.
Considering a cigarette end is approximately an inch long and doesn't require a high-pressure hose to remove it, doesn't stick to carpets or shoes, is picked up without any problems by the mobile street cleansing machine, then perhaps they should concentrate more on the fly-tipping problems.
