Camp Bling must remain, as the threat of dualling the second half of Priory Crescent is far greater if the plan for the first half goes ahead.

It is naive to think that this plan will be dropped if there is a chance the Government will pay for it, but how many of us are aware that it will also be of great cost to us ratepayers?

I do not want my council tax used for such a pointless plan. Everyone, apart from the council, knows that the problem is the junctions not the width of the road. There is just too much traffic.

It must be very unpleasant to live in Camp Bling and local people appreciate their stoicism in the face of mindless abuse by Trevor Murdin (Apr 14).

How many of them understand the concept of standing up for what you believe in?
