BILLERICAY made it to the Baftas...thanks to romantic comedy Gavin and Stacey.
The BBC show, which revolves around the romance between Essex boy Gavin and Welsh lovely Stacey, won two awards at this year's British Academy of Film and Television Arts event.
Gavin and his family live in Billericay, so the town features regularly show.
The hit comedy received the Audience Award for Programme of the Year, the only prize of the night to be voted for by viewers.
James Corden, 29, the show's co-creator who plays Gavin's best friend Smithy, won Best Comedy Performance.
Corden and co-writer Ruth Jones, who plays Stacey's best friend Nessa, stand to make an estimated £2million through selling the rights to Gavin and Stacey to American television network NBC.
The final episode of the second series was screened on BBC3 on Sunday.
