CLASSIC cars took to the roads at a charity fundraiser.
The event was organised by Colin Moles, of the Chelmer Valley Car Meet, and Hillary Spriggs, manager of Chelmsford Churches Homeless Emergency Support Scheme.
The 101 cars were waved off by Chelmsford mayor Nicolette Chambers on the 35-mile route from the town to Meadowcroft Nursery and Garden Centre, Battlesbridge.
Around £1,413 was raised.
Cars were selected for awards by the mayor, deputy mayor Ian Wright, Jamie Tyler from Lookers and Roland Smith from Meadowcroft, Hillary and Colin.
Mrs Spriggs said the day was a great success and thanked everyone who supported it.
