A driver was stopped and the vehicle was seized after it was travelling over 100mph on the A13.
Officers stopped the vehicle, which also had three illegal tyres, in Thurrock.
Officers from the Essex Police Operation Support Group posted on Twitter about the incident and said the driver was reported to court.

Posting on Twitter a spokesman for the Essex Police Operation Support Group said: "This Toyota GR Supra was seen on the A13 at Thurrock travelling well in excess of 100mph.
