A couple were left injured after being attacked in the street in broad daylight.
The husband and wife were punched by a man who approached them in Queensway, Southend yesterday afternoon.
He took to social media to warn others about the incident.
Police said he suffered an injury to his eye which was bleeding and the couple were punched.

An Essex Police spokesman said: "We were called to Queensway in Southend shortly before 2:30pm yesterday following reports of two people being assaulted. The victims were walking close to the chemist, when they were assaulted by a man who then ran away.
"The victims sustained minor injuries. Enquiries into this assault are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed anything or have any further information to contact us, quoting incident 683 of 2 October."
