OWNER pleads for help to find their "babies" after a pair of adorable French bulldogs were stolen during a burglary.
Officers were called to a home in The Weald, Canvey, on Sunday afternoon, after reports that intruders climbed through an open window to steal the animals.
Six-month-old puppy Ralph, as well as two-year-old Baby were stolen, and are yet to be found by Essex Police.
Two arrests have since been made.
Owner Samantha Conyard has begged for help finding her beloved animals.

She said: “We are absolutely devastated. We are heartbroken, we just can’t believe it.
“They are not just our dogs; they are our babies.
“Please help us make our babies too hot too handle and get them home where they belong.”
The family believe the dogs were bundled into their daughter’s quilt cover that was in the cupboard, before it was slung over the fence, and the dogs were taken.
Det Sgt Jenna McQueen said “Our team have acted quickly, gathering forensic evidence and CCTV footage, to identify those responsible.
“Our focus now is to reunite the dogs with their very worried owners.
“We are appealing for anyone who may know the dogs whereabouts or have any further information to contact us and assist with our enquiries.
“Burglary has a devastating impact on victims, and this is something we don’t underestimate at Essex Police.
“We are committed to investigating all residential burglaries and working constantly to prevent these offences from occurring and thoroughly investigating them when they do.”
The burglary is believed to have occurred between 3pm and 4.25pm on Sunday.
A spokesman for Essex Police added: “The burglary was reported to us shortly before 4.30pm and our officers quickly identified two suspects.
“By 11pm, a 39-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman, both from Basildon were arrested on suspicion of burglary dwelling.
“The dogs are yet to be located but officers are carrying out multiple enquiries to ensure their safe return.”
