SEVERE delays across south Essex as Dartford Crossing remains closed after a police incident.
The QEII Bridge has been closed for several hours after it was reported two people had climbed onto the bridge at around 3:50am this morning.
There are long delays across parts of south Essex including along the A13 as the bridge remains shut.
National Highways are now beginning to escort traffic through the tunnel, however, queues are at least four miles long.

The incident is on the M25 QEII Bridge clockwise between J31 A1306 and J1A A206.
But congestion is around three miles before J30 A13 (Thurrock / Lakeside), as well as a four-mile queue on the A13 from Tilbury, according to AA Traffic News.
Essex Travel News say it remains closed with traffic being "very slow".
A spokesman for Essex Police added: “Our colleagues from National Highways have now begun escorting traffic through the tunnel.
“It currently believes there are delays of around 60 minutes.
“We appreciate your patience and understanding.”
