A gang of thugs forced a car off the road before threatening the driver and stealing his car in a terrifying carjacking in Southend.
Following a crash in Richmond Street, Southend, at around 1.45pm yesterday, four men are believed to have out of a large vehicle before threatening the victim and stealing his Mercedes.
The men have been described as wearing dark tracksuits with their faces covered.

They allegedly threatened the victim before some of them drove off in his car, a silver Mercedes coupe.
A spokesman for Essex Police said they are appealing for witnesses and footage.
They said: “We are investigating after a car was taken following a collision in Southend yesterday, October 20.
“The men, wearing dark tracksuits with their faces covered, are believed to have got out of the vehicle, threatened the victim before some of them drove off in his car.
“The victim, in his 30s, was driving a silver Mercedes coupe. He was not hurt during the incident.
“If you have any information, CCTV, dash cam or other footage in relation to this incident, then please get in contact with us.
“Please quote incident 613 of October 20.”
