Basildon Sporting Village pool is shut due following a lack of water supply this morning.
The centre was shut following reports of a burst water main earlier today. South Essex Gymnastics Club posted on social media that the centre was shut and had said that customers would be contacted about changes to classes.
Bosses at Everyone Active said they are working to get the pool open as soon as possible.

Shaun Beagle, area contract manager at Everyone Active, said: “Unfortunately, we had to close Basildon Sporting Village for a short period this morning due to a lack of water supply. We quickly noticed the issue and called an emergency plumber to the site.
“The centre is now open but the main pool remains closed. We are working hard to rectify this and the pool will reopen as soon as it is within the correct temperature range.
“We would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused and would advise customers to check our website and Facebook page for further updates.”
