Police are appealing for witnesses after a man reported he was grabbed and narrowly avoided being forced into a vehicle on Canvey.
Police responded to reports of a disturbance on the island at 8.50pm yesterday (October 25).
During the incident in Corsel Road, a man in his 30s told police he was grabbed by a man who attempted to force him into a vehicle.
The man then managed to flee the scene.
The suspect is described as a white man, of slim build and wearing a dark jacket and trousers.

An Essex Police spokesman said: "If you have any information or dashcam footage please contact us and quote incident number 1304 of 25 October 2022.
