Police are appealing for information after a young boy was robbed and assaulted in Essex.

It was reported the 16 year-old boy was riding his bike when was approached by three men at the corner of Hodings Road and Fourth Avenue in Harlow.

The victim told police he had his headphones stolen and was subjected to an assault.

The men are described as white and wearing all black clothing, and jackets with a fur hood.

One of them was filming the incident, which took place at around 6.30pm on Thursday (October 27).

An Essex Police spokesman said: "If you have any information, CCTV, dash cam or other footage in relation to this incident, then please get in contact with us.

"Please quote the crime reference number 42/266340/22.
