Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward after an incident on a bus in Basildon this evening.
Officers were called to a route B3 First Bus at the bus station in Southernhay at about 8.10pm on October 29.
A man, in his 20s, had stab wounds to his head and was taken to the hospital. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.

A man, in his 70s, was arrested on the scene on suspicion of GBH with intent.
An Essex Police spokesman said: "We want to speak to anyone who was on the bus at the time of the incident to contact us. We know that some people left before officers arrived.
"We particularly want to speak to a man who was wearing a shop uniform.
"If you have any information in relation to this incident or video footage, then please get in contact with us.
"Please quote 1379 of 29 October."
