A 71-YEAR-OLD has been released under investigation after stabbing a man in the head on a Basildon bus.
Police were called to a route 3B First Bus at the bus station in Southernhay at around 8:10pm on Saturday evening.
A man, in his 20s, had stab wounds to his head and was taken to hospital. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life changing.

Following the incident, a man, in his 70s, was arrested at the scene.
Essex Police have now confirmed he was arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent and has now been released under investigation.
A spokesman said: “A 71-year-old man arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent has been released under investigation.
“Our enquiries continue.”
