A Westcliff man has appeared in court charged with sexually assaulting a teenage girl in a Southend shop.
The 14 year old was sexually assaulted in the shop in Southend High Street on November 3.
A 43 year old man from Westcliff was arrested on suspicion of sexual assault on November 7 and he was charged with sexual assault and breach of sexual harm prevention order .
Paul Brett, of Hainault Avenue, Westcliff, appeared at Southend Magistrates Court on November 8, where he entered a guilty plea, he has been remanded in custody for sentencing.

A spokesman for Essex Police - Southend District said: "On November 3 we received a report that a 14 year old female had been sexually assaulted in a shop in Southend High Street.
"Officers from our Town Centre Team, quickly attended the shop and viewed CCTV of the suspect, they completed extensive enquiries which led to them identifying the suspect.
"Our Criminal Investigations Department interviewed the man and he was charged with Sexual Assault and Breach of Sexual Harm Prevention Order and was remanded to appear before court the following day."
