A POPULAR woods will see its car park shut for around a month as works get underway.

Rochford District Council has announced there are resurfacing works going on at the car park in Hockley Woods.

This means it will remain closed for approximately four weeks.

A spokesman Rochford District Council said: “An important update about Hockley Woods.

“Please be aware.

“The car park in Hockley Woods is closed for approximately four weeks for resurfacing works.

“Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

This comes just after Hockley Woods Play Space has re-opened with brand new inclusive equipment, which is now ready to be enjoyed by residents and children.
