A number of south Essex drivers have been sentenced and appeared in court for driving offences.

Here's the south Essex motorists who appeared in front of the magistrates charged with driving crimes.

Steven Herffernan, 50, of Dordells, Basildon, was sentenced for speeding.

Bradley Reeve, 60, of Clarence Street, Southend was in court in connection driving while using a mobile phone.

On May 12 in Havering he drove a car when he was using a hand-held mobile telephone.

The matter has been adjourned to January 3 and the adjournment reason is a non-standard reason Amanda Shayes, 51, of South Avenue, Hullbridge, was in court for speeding in Kent.

On April 4 at the Dartford Tunnel she drove a car exceeding the legal limit of 50 miles per hour. The speed recorded by means of an automatic camera device was 59 miles per hour.
