A man has died after concerns were raised for the welfare of a person in Southend.
A large emergency service presence was called to the seafront, near to Adventure Island, this morning.
Images showed police, ambulance and fire service vehicles, as well as an air ambulance, on the scene on the seafront.

An Essex Police spokesman said: "We were called to Southend Seafront, close to Adventure Island shortly after 9am this morning following the concern for safety of a man in the water.
"Sadly, the man was declared deceased at the scene. His death is currently being treated as unexpected but not believed to be suspicious. Enquiries are ongoing."
