The opening of a new Basildon Nando's restaurant has been delayed with bosses blaming reasons out of their control.
The new eatery in East Square was due to open today but the launch has been pushed back with the firm unable to confirm when it will open officially.
The eatery in Basildon’s new East Square development is part of the £25million cinema complex in the town centre and it comes as Kaspa’s Desserts opened last month.

"There will be seating for 92 people inside and 16 outside. We are transferring all of the team from the Basildon Eastgate to Basildon East Square, with 22 staff transferred and hired an additional 25 new staff."
